HFHN’s First Veterans Initiative Home Dedication

Monday, November 2nd, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark joined with the GI GO Fund to welcome Army Veteran, Isaac Ezirim to his new home. In attendance from our community was a representative from one of our most supportive Veterans Initiative corporate partners, Tom Hiebert, Senior Director of Veterans Initiatives at ADP. We were happy to welcome back some of our local student volunteers and the dedicated teachers from JFK School, all of whom worked on this home and others. We were also honored to be joined by Newark Council members, Gayle Chaneyfield-Jenkins, Central Ward, John Sharpe James, South Ward, and Joe McCallum, West Ward.

Thanks to all our supporters, our Veterans Initiative is working toward providing more homes for more military veterans and their families in our Newark and Essex County communities.
