Harmony Point

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark

An urban-style condominium subdivision of 23 affordable two- and three-bedroom units in the South Ward, Harmony Point will be the largest project of Habitat of Greater Newark to date.

The first phase will comprise three buildings with three condos each – for a total of 9 homes. There will be two- and three- bedroom layouts available.

Thanks to a generous subsidy from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, and the support of corporate, faith-based, and individual donors, these homes will sell for $60,000 – $80,000 with an income-based, affordable mortgage. Habitat of Greater Newark Partner Families supply at least 200 hours of sweat equity in construction of their home. To qualify for a Harmony Point home, families must earn between $25,000 and $48,000, depending on family size.
