Bring your company, team, organization, or school group to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark for a day of volunteering together in an exciting team building environment—all while making an important contribution to Habitat’s mission to build homes in partnership with families in need. Our calendar has year-round opportunities for your group to support Habitat of Greater Newark’s work, while also providing valuable team building and community engagement experiences for you and your team.

Corporate Challenge
Participate in Habitat of Greater Newark’s Corporate Challenge and build a home for a hard-working Northern New Jersey family—and lasting memories for you and your coworkers. Faith Challenge
Habitat for Humanity’s mission is rooted in faith-based principles of compassion and community service. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark welcomes congregations of all faiths to partner with us in building safe, decent, affordable housing for all people. Each summer, Habitat of Greater Newark needs the help of your faith community to raise our Faith House. Interested in scheduling a Faith Challenge build day? School Groups
We welcome high school and university groups to our build sites. All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Youth ages 14 – 17 are not permitted to use power tools, and must be accompanied by an adult. See the School & Campus Chapters page on this website for further guidelines for volunteers under age 18. Download Parent Consent PDF form needed for volunteers under age 18.
