Donation of furniture, commercial kitchen equipment, appliances, and reusable materials will support affordable housing efforts, advance sustainability, and strengthen local communities
Through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark, the New York Giants are proud to announce a donation of furniture, commercial kitchen equipment, appliances, and other reusable materials from their team headquarters. The Giants are currently undergoing an expansion of their facility which allowed for these resources to be available to the community, providing quality resources to be reutilized in a significant way.
Many of the donated items will initially be available through Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark’s Fairfield ReStore, with proceeds directly supporting the construction and rehabilitation of affordable homes for hardworking families throughout the region. Additional materials will be repurposed to further Habitat’s mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership and may also support the organization’s newly opened Kenilworth ReStore, expanding access to affordable home improvement resources for communities throughout northern New Jersey.
The collaboration represents more than a donation—it reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, responsible reuse, and investing in the communities both organizations proudly serve. By giving these resources a second life, the New York Giants and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark are demonstrating how meaningful partnerships can create lasting impact while reducing waste and supporting families across the Greater Newark region.
