RESPECTFULLY EMPOWERING NORTHERN NJ FAMILIES

Sika Corporation began when Kaspar Winkler invented Sika-1, a quick-setting waterproofing admixture for mortar in 1910. Sika’s mixture made waterproofing the Gotthard Tunnel possible, which in turn made electrifying the important connection between Northern and Southern Europe possible. Sika’s company principles today emphasize courage for Innovation, sustainability and integrity, and empowerment and respect.

We welcomed Sika employees to our 24 Burnet Street worksite in Livingston in 2021. Even though our worksite safety protocols had expanded beyond hard hats, eye protection, and gloves to include COVID-19 safety, the Sika team didn’t slow down.

“Sika Corporation truly commits to corporate philanthropy,” comments Jeffrey J. Farrell, Habitat of Greater Newark CEO. “Not only did their employees come on site for a build day, but when they heard that our soon-to-open ReStore building was being renovated, they decided to donate Sika’s epoxy flooring, Sikafloor®.”
