Staying on Track During the Pandemic

Our Livingston home at 24 Burnet Street is nearly complete. We are so proud of our Partner Family, our volunteers and our staff for staying on track during the pandemic. Our work wouldn’t be possible without donors like Weber Gallagher (see photos from their Corporate Challenge build day later in this issue). We are also very grateful to you, our supporters, for recognizing the special circumstances of this build and stepping in with thoughtful and extremely generous donations of materials and funds.

We’ve got more good news to share. Open the latest issue of the Toolbox by clicking on the front cover and see!

  • Critical Repair: “If we had not had our gutters repaired prior to [Hurricane Ida], they would have fallen off!”
  • Law firm Weber Gallagher’s take on Corporate Challenge volunteering: an easy signup process and a great COVID-friendly team-building activity.
  • Meet Rosa, our ReStore’s new manager, and learn more about our ReStore: Job openings! Volunteering opportunities! Donation procedures!
  • Food pantry update: how we are helping disabled neighborhood residents with our mobile delivery options.

This winter promises to be a challenging season for many. Meteorologists project a long, cold and snowy winter. Supply chain disruptions mean that goods and services will be hard to find, delayed, and more expensive. Your support will make a difference for many local residents this year.
